Sometimes               your               best               bet               is               to               take               the               KO,               or               in               Notre               Dame's               case,               not               come               back               on               the               field               for               the               second               half               of               a               beating.

he               probably               could               have               had               a               few               more               yards,               but               it's               really               hard               to               throw               while               sitting               on               your               butt.

Word               is               that               Jones               is               headed               for               Northern               Illinois.

Let's               think               about               that               for               a               second.

The               kid               who               started               this               train               wreck               of               a               season               for               the               Irish               at               QB,               would               rather               pack               his               bags               and               head               for               Northern               Freakin               Illinois.

Rats               abandon               ships               before               they               go               down               don't               they?

Well               prepare               for               this               Titanic               of               a               team               to               go               slowly               down               into               the               icy               waters               of               the               2007               NCAA               season.
If               you               missed               the               game               for               some               reason,               don't               worry,               you               can               always               flip               on               ESPN               Classic               and               catch               the               Foreman-Frazier               bout.

See               the               big               bad               boxer               known               as               George               Foreman               hit               the               smaller               heavyweight               champion               Joe               Frazier?

See               him               hit               Frazier               so               hard               that               he               keeps               knocking               him               to               the               canvas               time               and               time               again?

Now               pretend               that               Frazier               is               Notre               Dame               and               Foreman               is               Michigan.

The               game               went               pretty               much               the               same               way.
